How can we make a reaction run "uphill"? Illustrate by giving an example of an industrial process which exploits this principle.

Electrochemically. (One example is making Al from Al2O3.)

Removing products doesn't make the reaction go uphill; it changes DG so that the reaction runs downhill. This answer was worth one point. Increasing temperature also changes DG (one point.)
